Final step for shortlisted candidates scoring 70+ points on their application

You've Been Shortlisted—Now What?

If your application scores 70 or more points, you'll be invited to a virtual interview. This is your opportunity to bring your story to life and demonstrate why you're ready for this opportunity.

Interview Format
  • Duration: 25 minutes (15 minutes presentation + 10 minutes Q&A)
  • Format: Virtual (Zoom/Google Meet) — accessible from anywhere
  • Panel: 2-3 members from Academia, NGO, Industry, and SINCxEDU

Final Selection Formula

Application Score (100) × 60%

Interview Score (50) × 40%
= Final Composite Score / 100

Top 20 candidates by final composite score receive scholarship offers. Tie-breakers (in order): Financial Need → Resilience Score → Gender Balance → Geographic Diversity

What Happens After Interviews

Offer Notifications (April 10, 2026)

All interviewed candidates will receive notification via email. Scholarship offers include full details on university placement, financial support, and onboarding schedule.

Acceptance Deadline (April 20, 2026)

Selected scholars have 10 days to accept their offer. If a scholar declines, we move to the waitlist in composite score order.

Onboarding & Preparation (May–June 2026)

Accepted scholars begin pre-departure orientation, visa processing assistance, English proficiency training (if needed), and cohort bonding activities.

University Matriculation (Fall 2026)

Scholars arrive at their assigned universities and begin their undergraduate journey with full financial and mentorship support.
