Everything you need to prepare for a complete and competitive application

Required Submissions

All applicants must submit the following documents

500 words
Personal Story Essay

"What challenge have you faced, and how did it shape your dream for the future?"

Tip: Focus on resilience, responsibility, growth, and clarity. Be authentic and specific.

1–2 pages
Project / Dream Statement

What you want to build (e.g., renewable energy in your village, social enterprise)

Tip: Include: problem, your idea, beneficiaries, how SINCxEDU helps, first 90-day plan.

Phone quality accepted
2-Minute Video

"Tell us your dream and why we should choose you."

Tip: Face visible, clear audio, one take preferred. Quiet room, natural light, speak slowly.

From teacher/mentor/community leader
Reference Letter

Character reference confirming need and potential

Tip: Should include specific examples and rank you among their students/mentees.

Transcripts & exam scores
Academic Documents

Last 2–3 years of transcripts, national exam/AP/IB scores (if any)

Tip: Official or school-certified copies accepted. Include translation if not in English.

Income proof or attestation
Financial Documentation

Formal income proof or community attestation if from informal economy

Tip: All information confidential. Community attestation accepted for informal workers.

Applications submitted by February 1, 2026 receive priority review and earlier interview scheduling. Final deadline is March 1, 2026. Don't let perfect be the enemy of good—submit early and show us who you are.

  • Be Authentic: We value genuine stories over polished perfection. Write in your own voice.
  • Show, Don't Tell: Use specific examples and concrete details to illustrate your experiences.
  • Focus on Impact: Describe the real-world change you want to create, not just your career goals.
  • Get Feedback: Have a teacher or mentor review your essays before submitting.
